Ilana Rubel, Board Member

Ilana Rubel serves as the Minority Leader of the Idaho House of Representatives, where she has represented southeast Boise since 2014. She is a graduate of Georgetown University and Harvard Law School and is senior counsel in the Silicon Valley-based law firm of Fenwick & West. In addition to serving on the Board of Idaho Business for the Outdoors, Representative Rubel is a member of the Advisory Board of the Honors College of Boise State University, served on the Governor’s Task Force on Higher Education, and serves on the Board of the National Association of Jewish Legislators. She received the Cecil Andrus Conservation Award from the Idaho Conservation League and the Environmental Champion Award from the Conservation Voters of Idaho, and passed the Homeowner Solar Rights bill which led to the quadrupling of rooftop solar installations in Idaho. Ilana moved to the beautiful state of Idaho 22 years ago where she regularly skis, camps and hikes through the state’s beautiful lands with her husband and four children.
